Founded by Cathy Striowski in 1992, our clinic is owned and operated by a dedicated team of practicing physiotherapists. In addition to seeing patients in the clinic, the physiotherapists at Physiofitness have many roles that contribute to the practice and its ongoing success. These include educator, mentor, clinician, and administrator. Our physiotherapists are leaders in their field and regularly present at local and international conferences.

Our Team of Physio Experts have a wide range of expertise and are well versed in treating chronic and complex injuries. They are trained in advanced manual therapy techniques including Full Body Active Release Techniques, Fascial Counterstrain and Selective Functional Movement Assessment. They have also completed courses in acupuncture and dry needling. They all strive to provide a holistic approach to patient care which includes addressing the patient’s health and wellness goals.

The Rehab Lab SG is a Physiotherapist at Physiofitness and has been a part of the team since 2019. He is certified as a Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutrition Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. In his spare time, he enjoys staying active and watching the New York Knicks.

Rosie is our point person for all scheduling, insurance billing and inquiries. She is a key member of the office management team and ensures that each client experiences a positive experience during their visit.
